  • Instant adaptability: As an app block, it adjusts automatically to any Shopify updates, ensuring long-term compatibility.

  • Simple setup: Customize the selector with various elements like icons, flags, country codes, and more to match your brand’s look and feel.

Improvements

• Market Selector Modal in mobile: Tabs now function as toggles on mobile devices. When clicked, tabs open and close on themselves, streamlining the selection process for a better user experience.

We're thrilled to roll out one of the most requested features since Orbe's launch. Now, you can tailor your entire welcome popup according to your customers' country.

This update enables you to immediately inform international customers about local shipping thresholds, payment methods, duties covered, and more during their first visit. By guiding them smoothly to their tailored country experience, you can build trust and significantly boost your conversion rates.

  • Updated 'Refresh Data' button now syncs fully with markets to enhance user experience.

  • Improved onboarding block which now disappears after 30 days or upon completing introductory tasks without needing to click 'finish'.

  • Refresh Data button moved to the top of the 'Connect Stores' page for better visibility.

  • Updated country flags for better usability and display across the platform.

• Integration:

  • Added a new integration with Global-e, simplifying activation and automatically enabling for existing Global-e Native stores without needing support.

• Translation:

  • Support for saving fallback text without translations, ensuring default texts are loaded properly in the popup if no country-specific translation is available.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue with displaying the 'Fix Duplications' alert correctly.

• Addressed a minor bug that incorrectly added "the" twice before "Netherlands" for users with English browser settings.

Now, you can fully customize all the texts in the popup, not just the title! 🎉

This update allows you to provide clearer messages and better guidance to customers who visit from countries where you don’t offer shipping options. Tailor the entire popup in their browser language and give them a seamless experience—even when shipping isn’t available.

We have redesigned the Connected Stores section so that you can enjoy even more the functionality of connecting stores. Orbe is the only app on the market that allows you to connect Shopify stores to synchronize Markets.

Now with this redesign, you will be able to see much more information about your connected stores, you will be able to see help to guide you through the process of connecting stores and how to configure them.

The mdApp_countryCode parameter is no longer required. Country is used instead.

New languages

• Orbe now supports new languages: Swedish, Danish, Turkish, Dutch and Portugues (Brazilian).

New Popup options

• Now you can display the flag of the geolocated country in the popup. You can see this new option in the Shopify Theme Editor.

• We have improved the behavior of the close popup button so that Orbe saves the behavior and does not show the popup again for 7 days.

• We have implemented a new option that allows to force the language if the user is in the correct country but not in their browser language. You can see this new option in the Shopify Theme Editor.

• We have implemented a new option to display currencies in different countries. This option is compatible with Shopify Markets and with the functionality to connect multiple Orbe stores. You can see this new option in the Shopify Theme Editor

Shopify Markets

We have internally redesigned the Shopify Markets synchronization process to be more powerful, efficient and now automatic.

New Embeds

Now the Footer Selector is called Market Selector. This embed until now was a country/language selector to put in the footer.

From this update you can configure it as a popup where you can display all the countries of all your stores with their respective flags, multicurrency, etc..

This allows you to configure a much more visual selector that you can display anywhere in your theme.

General changes

We have made many performance adjustments. We have also fixed several bugs and improved Shopify technology support in the application Dashboard.

We are working very hard to continue building the best product on the market.

We have an ORBE update this month with fantastic new features.

This major update includes several changes obtained thanks to the feedback received from the entire community and new incredible things to improve the best geolocation app in the Shopify ecosystem.

General

• Bug fixes throughout the platform to gain more stability and performance.

• NEW Onboarding process to explain and help to improve user experience with new video. This new video helps to configure and customize your geolocation experience.

• NEW languages: ORBE now supports English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

New features

• With Premium/Advanced plan now you can customize the entire CSS of geolocation modal.

• NEW footer selector options to improve UI of this block in your theme.

• NEW Shopify Markets integration: with this new feature now, you can synchronize your Markets configuration into ORBE. This information improves the Country and Language selectors in ORBE geolocation modal.

Synchronization with Shopify Markets is limited to 20 marketplaces and 30 regions per marketplace.

New Plans

• The original Premium tier is now called "Advanced". It's just a renamed tier.

• We continue to improve ORBE and now is the moment to announce new subscription tier: Plus.

• "Plus" it's a new plan which contains all things of Premium/Advanced and new special support to integrate Shopify Markets without limitations thanks to our development team. This special support allows to directly contact to our development team to work together to improve integration.

• This tier cost $49/month.

And that’s not all. In May, we launch the first post of blog "Build in Public". The post called "How we have developed ORBE in 2 months" and explains the vision of our development team developing ORBE. It's super interesting.
