Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: May 2026
This Accessibility Policy aims to provide information about the level of accessibility of the functionalities developed by MUSHDESK, S.L. (hereinafter, "Orbe" or the "Company"), as well as the measures adopted to ensure that such functionalities can be used by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
This policy has been prepared in accordance with the principles established in European digital accessibility regulations, in particular Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), as well as generally recognized technical standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
1. Scope of application
This Accessibility Policy applies exclusively to the technological functionalities developed, managed and directly controlled by MUSHDESK, S.L., within the framework of Orbe Geolocation, and which are integrated into third-party digital environments.
In particular, this policy covers only the following product components:
- The Orbe app home in Shopify Admin.
- The frontend geolocation system (geolocation popup).
- The country and language selectors integrated into the user experience.
These components are integrated into websites owned by third parties (merchants), mainly through ecommerce platforms, without Orbe having control over the full environment in which they are deployed.
The following are expressly excluded from the scope of this policy and, therefore, fall outside Orbe's sphere of responsibility:
- The merchant's website as a whole, including its architecture, design, structure and overall user experience.
- The content published by the merchant, as well as its presentation, organization and accessibility.
- Functionalities, developments, integrations or technical elements not provided directly by Orbe.
- Any modification, customization or configuration made by the merchant or by third parties to Orbe components.
Consequently, this Accessibility Policy is strictly limited to the elements under Orbe's effective control and does not constitute, under any circumstances, a statement of conformity or guarantee regarding the accessibility of the merchant's website as a whole.
2. Accessibility commitment
MUSHDESK, S.L., through Orbe Geolocation, is committed to developing and maintaining its functionalities according to reasonable and proportionate accessibility criteria aligned with industry best practices, with the aim of making them usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
This commitment is based on the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness, in accordance with generally accepted standards in digital accessibility.
In particular, Orbe guides the design and development of its functionalities towards:
- Facilitating interaction through alternative input devices, including keyboard navigation for essential elements.
- Ensuring appropriate levels of readability, visual contrast and information hierarchy.
- Providing clear, consistent and understandable interfaces for the user.
- Supporting, to the extent technically feasible, compatibility with assistive technologies.
The scope of this commitment is limited to the components over which Orbe has direct control, taking into account the limitations inherent to their integration into third-party digital environments.
Orbe also adopts a continuous improvement approach, periodically reviewing its developments and prioritizing the progressive incorporation of accessibility improvements, in line with regulatory, technical and product evolution.
3. Level of conformity
Orbe functionalities are developed by taking as a reference the criteria established in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as an internationally recognized technical standard for digital accessibility.
However, Orbe does not declare an absolute or uniform level of conformity in all use cases, since its functionalities are integrated into digital environments owned by third parties, whose configuration, design and structure may directly affect the final accessibility result.
In particular, the effective level of accessibility may be conditioned by factors outside Orbe's control, such as:
- The specific implementation of the functionalities on each merchant website.
- The theme, template or framework used by the merchant.
- Configurations, customizations or additional developments carried out by third parties.
- The interaction between Orbe components and other elements of the digital environment in which they are integrated.
In this context, Orbe adopts an approach of progressive alignment with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, guiding its developments towards compliance to the extent reasonably possible, without this constituting a guarantee of full conformity in all integration environments.
4. Implemented measures
Within the scope of the functionalities developed and directly controlled by Orbe, various measures have been incorporated to improve accessibility and facilitate user interaction, in accordance with the principles and standards set out in this policy.
In particular, Orbe has implemented, among others, the following measures:
- Structured and hierarchical content design in the geolocation popup, supporting its understanding and use.
- Application of appropriate contrast and readability criteria to facilitate visual perception of elements.
- Keyboard interaction in the main navigation and selection components.
- Configuration of country and language selectors according to intuitive and understandable design patterns.
- Interface simplification and reduction of elements that may create access barriers or make the user experience more difficult.
These measures are implemented within Orbe's technical scope and apply to the components over which the Company has direct control.
However, the effectiveness of these measures may be conditioned by the environment in which the functionalities are integrated, including factors such as the merchant website configuration, the design of the theme used, or the interaction with other third-party elements.
Consequently, the measures described should be understood as reasonable efforts aimed at improving product accessibility, without constituting a guarantee of full compliance in all usage environments.
5. Limitations
Despite Orbe's efforts to incorporate accessibility criteria into the development of its functionalities, certain limitations may exist due to technical and operational factors that exceed its scope of control.
In particular, such limitations may be associated with:
- The integration of Orbe functionalities into third-party platforms or technological environments, such as Shopify or equivalent solutions.
- Configurations, customizations or modifications made by the merchant or by third parties to the website or to Orbe components themselves.
- The interaction between Orbe functionalities and other elements, scripts or integrations present in the merchant's digital environment.
- The specific characteristics of the devices, browsers or assistive technologies used by end users.
Consequently, Orbe cannot guarantee full compliance with all accessibility criteria for elements that do not fall within its development and control scope, nor in cases where accessibility depends on external factors.
6. Allocation of responsibilities
Orbe shall be responsible exclusively for the accessibility of the functionalities described in section 1, insofar as they are developed, maintained and directly controlled by the Company.
The merchant, as the owner of the website into which such functionalities are integrated, shall be responsible for:
- The accessibility of the website as a whole, including its design, structure and overall user experience.
- The content published, as well as its presentation, organization and format.
- The correct configuration and technical integration of Orbe functionalities within its digital environment.
- Any modifications, adaptations or additional developments that may affect the behavior or accessibility of the integrated components.
Consequently, the final level of accessibility perceived by the user will depend on the interaction between Orbe's developments and the technical and functional environment defined by the merchant, without Orbe being able to assume responsibility for elements outside its effective control.
7. Reporting incidents
Orbe provides users with a specific channel to report incidents, barriers or access difficulties related to the functionalities included within the scope of this Accessibility Policy.
Reports may be submitted through the following contact address: support@orbe.app
Requests received will be managed according to an internal evaluation and prioritization procedure, which will include, at least:
- Recording the incident and classifying it according to its nature and criticality.
- Technical analysis of the request and whether it falls within Orbe's scope of responsibility.
- Determination of possible corrective measures or reasonable alternatives.
- Communication to the requester, where appropriate, of the status and outcome of the evaluation.
Orbe undertakes to analyze requests within a reasonable period and to adopt, to the extent possible, the actions necessary to improve the accessibility of its functionalities.
In cases where the incident is linked to elements outside Orbe's control, the requester will be informed of this circumstance and may, where appropriate, be redirected to the corresponding merchant.
8. Continuous improvement
Orbe adopts a continuous improvement approach to accessibility, aimed at progressively adapting its functionalities to applicable technical and regulatory standards.
To this end, the Company undertakes to:
- Periodically review its developments from a digital accessibility perspective.
- Identify areas for improvement and prioritize their implementation based on impact and technical feasibility.
- Incorporate, where reasonably possible, improvements aligned with WCAG and other industry best practices.
- Take into account incidents and suggestions received through the enabled channels.
Reviews will be carried out periodically or whenever relevant changes occur in the product, the applicable regulations or the technical reference standards.
This approach allows Orbe to evolve its functionalities progressively, ensuring constant improvement in accessibility terms, without prejudice to the limitations inherent to their integration into third-party environments.
9. Policy update
This Accessibility Policy may be reviewed and updated at any time in order to adapt it to changes in Orbe Geolocation product functionalities, the evolution of the applicable regulatory framework, as well as updates to technical standards and best practices in digital accessibility.
Updates will be published through the Company's usual channels or through those considered appropriate depending on the environment in which the functionalities are integrated. In the event of relevant changes, Orbe may communicate such changes to affected merchants or users where appropriate.
In all cases, the current version of the Accessibility Policy shall be the latest version published by the Company and accessible through the means enabled by it.
