We’ve shipped a new set of updates focused on giving you more control, better consistency across stores, and a smoother experience across the app. From smarter cookie settings to shared configuration syncing, these changes help you manage Orbe more efficiently at scale.

Orbe Dashboard

New

Preferences duration

• You can now control when the geolocation popup shows up again. Decide how long Orbe should remember a visitor’s country and language, whether to keep the popup hidden for the current session, or to ask again after a few days.
• Available on Orbe Plus and Enterprise plans.

Share Settings: synced configuration across stores

• Introduced Shared Settings to apply the same configuration across all connected stores.
• When enabled, settings from the current store are copied and kept in sync across other stores, so you only need to update them once.
• You can turn sharing on or off per section, keeping full control over which settings are shared and which remain store-specific.
• Disabling Shared Settings stops synchronization without reverting any existing configuration.

Improvements

• Improved plan and billing flows, including better handling of discounts and upgrades.
• Smoother navigation and overall performance improvements across the dashboard.
• More consistent UI components, including tabs in the Translations section.

Bug Fixes

• General fixes to improve stability when connecting stores.

App Embed

• Full compatibility with the new preference duration settings.

Improvements

• Added alignment options (left / right) for the Country and Language Selector dropdowns to prevent content overflow.
• On mobile, Market Selector tabs grouped by continent are now collapsed by default for better usability.

We’ve rolled out a brand-new onboarding flow and two powerful app blocks to make Orbe easier and more flexible than ever. From setup to customization, these updates are designed to help you launch faster and deliver a smoother localized experience.

• Brand-new onboarding flow with 5 guided steps to configure Orbe faster and more intuitively.

Improvements

• Updated the Market Selector card with a cleaner design and better readability.
• The Onboarding Guide block has been fully refreshed to match the new 5-step onboarding flow, making it easier for new users to get started.
• Added a new NPS survey so you can now share your feedback directly from the dashboard, making it faster and easier to have your voice heard.

Plans

• The Plans page has been redesigned for a smoother experience.
• Orbe now automatically detects your Shopify billing currency (EUR, GBP, or USD) and charges you in that same currency. This gives you a clearer overview of your subscription costs.

Translations

• Added a caching system for Plus and Enterprise stores: market data is now cached for 24 hours after the first load. This makes editing adaptations faster and more reliable.
• The cache refreshes automatically whenever you sync Markets, so your data always stays accurate.
• In Global-e stores, the adaptation selector now shows only the markets that matter, keeping the view cleaner.

• General UI fixes for smoother navigation.

App embeds

New

• Two new app blocks: Country Selector and Language Selector. Fully customizable and able to run independently from the Market Selector, with their own options and settings.

Improvements

• Improved performance of country flags.
• Now settings change automatically based on the selector type you choose, so you only see the options that matter.

• Improved popup behavior to ensure it always displays smoothly in every scenario.

This update brings major accessibility improvements, cleaner code, and new customization options, making Orbe even faster and more compliant with the latest standards.

Orbe is now fully compliant with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), including WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Fixed an issue where the "the" article in the {country} variable was not working correctly.

We’ve redesigned how you connect expansion stores in Orbe to make the process faster, easier, and fully guided from your dashboard.

You can now connect Shopify stores in just a few clicks using only the store URL and follow the guided stesps. No need to contact support or copy and paste codes between stores.

This update also introduces support for external stores. Whether you're working with a franchise, distributor, or a store on another platform like Magento, you can now connect them directly from Orbe. These stores are fully integrated into your country selector and work seamlessly with Shopify Markets.

Already had external stores added by our support team? No worries, they’ve been automatically migrated to the new system and are now visible in your dashboard.

• The variant parameter is now removed between redirects for connected stores with full path enabled.
• Orbe now supports automatic redirects that are compatible with Shopify automatic discounts and Shopify Collabs, ensuring this information is passed seamlessly between different country experiences.
• Improved compatibility with Klaviyo popups: Orbe now automatically ensures that its Geolocation Popup displays first, followed by Klaviyo popups, preventing overlaps and delivering a smoother experience for the end user.

• Fixed an issue on mobile where the arrow icon in the dropdown adaptations menu didn’t rotate correctly when opening a market.

Geolocation Button

• When the Geolocation Popup is opened via a Geolocation Button, the close button (X) is now always visible. This is achieved using orbito.openAndRefreshModal(true).
• Added a new input text field, "Theme Editor Label," allowing merchants to assign an internal name to the app block. This makes it easier to identify and customize different Geolocation Buttons, such as one for the Header and another for the Drawer Menu on mobile.

We have internally redesigned the Shopify Markets synchronization process to be more powerful, efficient and now automatic.

New Embeds

Now the Footer Selector is called Market Selector. This embed until now was a country/language selector to put in the footer.

From this update you can configure it as a popup where you can display all the countries of all your stores with their respective flags, multicurrency, etc..

This allows you to configure a much more visual selector that you can display anywhere in your theme.

General changes

We have made many performance adjustments. We have also fixed several bugs and improved Shopify technology support in the application Dashboard.

This major update includes several changes obtained thanks to the feedback received from the entire community and new incredible things to improve the best geolocation app in the Shopify ecosystem.

• NEW Onboarding process to explain and help to improve user experience with new video. This new video helps to configure and customize your geolocation experience.
• NEW languages: ORBE now supports English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

New features

• With Premium/Advanced plan now you can customize the entire CSS of geolocation modal.
• NEW footer selector options to improve UI of this block in your theme.
• NEW Shopify Markets integration: with this new feature now, you can synchronize your Markets configuration into ORBE. This information improves the Country and Language selectors in ORBE geolocation modal.

Synchronization with Shopify Markets is limited to 20 marketplaces and 30 regions per marketplace.

New Plans

• The original Premium tier is now called "Advanced". It's just a renamed tier.
• We continue to improve ORBE and now is the moment to announce new subscription tier: Plus.
• "Plus" it's a new plan which contains all things of Premium/Advanced and new special support to integrate Shopify Markets without limitations thanks to our development team. This special support allows to directly contact to our development team to work together to improve integration.
• This tier cost $49/month.

And that’s not all. In May, we launch the first post of blog "Build in Public". The post called "How we have developed ORBE in 2 months" and explains the vision of our development team developing ORBE. It's super interesting.
